It was time for him to move. He dreaded for this to happen, for his mum and dad to call his name.
“Come Draco”, said Narcissa. ”Come.”
He knew he had to, he had no choice. He couldn’t move. He stood there for a minute and turned to look at Hermione. She had a look in her eyes that said ‘Go on, I don’t want you to get hurt. I’ll be fine’.
He stepped forwards, down the stairs and to his mum and dad.
“I can’t leave you Hermione”, he whispered. He stopped a few meters away from Voldemort.
“Good job Drac-“
“NO!”, he yelled. He turned around to face hermione.
”I CAN’T DO THIS. I CAN’T LEAVE YOU.” Tears started rolling down his cheek. “I can’t”.
”NO! DRACO NO!”, she screamed. Draco started to run the other direction, back to Hermione, back on her arms. Hermione was running towards him too.
”Avada Kedavra.” Green lights flashed, screams were heard and Draco fell on the ground, eyes wide open.
”No. No. No. Draco, not you. Don’t leave me”, Hermione cried on his cold body on the ground. His eyes didn’t see, his body didn’t feel, his ears didn’t hear, but she spoke to him.
”I love you. I was never ashamed of it.”
